I work on housing — finding people homes, moving the data that gets them built, and organizing to change the rules that stand in the way.

I'm a Housing Specialist with the New York City Public Engagement Unit, where I match New Yorkers with apartments and build the landlord and broker relationships that keep a steady supply of homes coming in.

In 2017 I helped found Open New York and serve on its founding board. We launched New York's YIMBY movement essentially from scratch — incorporating the nonprofit, growing a mailing list past 5,000 people, opening chapters statewide, and hiring more than ten full-time staff. In the years since, New York has passed citywide zoning reform, approved ballot measures to streamline housing approvals, and eliminated parking minimums near transit.

Before housing, I spent a decade in political data: survey research and analytics at Global Strategy Group, direct-mail targeting at CREDO Mobile, Integrated Direct Marketing, and MSHC Partners, and voter file engineering at the Democratic National Committee. I write SQL and R, and I've spent more time inside voter files than is strictly reasonable.
